We are on the edge of the Trans Pennine Trail which affords great countryside riding. We have well schooled horses and ponies for all ages and novice through to advanced riders. Our rides are always accompanied.

John Shaw Equestrian Riding School offers a range of hacks and rides out, so if you want to enjoy hacking in the countryside rather than have a lesson, then you have come to the right place. However, for safety reasons, we do require you to have ridden indoors with us previously before booking a hack.

Don't worry if you don't have your own hat. We have a large selection and are happy to lend you one.
